Katie Beatley, PT, DPT, LSVT® BIG Certified

A native of Massachusetts, Katie knew she wanted to become a physical therapist from an early age. As a competitive gymnast, she had first-hand experience of its importance in aiding the healing process and helping patients regain their independence.

In 2004 she earned her BS in Health Science from James Madison University in Virginia. She quickly followed up with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Elon University in North Carolina in 2007. She has a strong background in manual therapy and her athletic experience gives her good insight into sports medicine. The LSVT® BIG certification enables her to work with patients at all stages of Parkinson’s disease.
